About the position

As a Technical Product Manager at Deutsche Bank, you will play a pivotal role in the Archiving Technology product portfolio, specifically focusing on the eDiscovery Technology function. Your primary responsibility will be to establish the vision and roadmap for multiple products that support eDiscovery services, ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations. You will collaborate closely with eDiscovery, Legal, and Compliance stakeholders, as well as business partners, to develop and deliver key business capabilities. This role requires a strategic mindset to set the direction for the eDiscovery Technology product family, while also managing a small team dedicated to the development and maintenance of applications that enable eDiscovery services. In this position, you will interface with various application teams, architects, and business partners to drive the adoption of applications. Your leadership will extend to managing Product Owners and other members of the Agile product team, ensuring that the team operates effectively and meets its objectives. You will also participate in requirements clarification with stakeholders, ensuring that the products developed align with business needs and regulatory requirements. The role demands a strong technical background, particularly in software development processes, and familiarity with technologies such as Cloud (preferably GCP), programming languages (preferably Java), and Big Data technologies. Your hands-on experience with Atlassian tools like JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, and GitHub will be essential in managing the product lifecycle and facilitating collaboration within the team.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in Computer Science or Software Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Strong technical background with an understanding of software development processes.
  • Experience and good knowledge of technologies like Cloud (GCP preferably), programming language (Java preferable), Big Data and related technologies.
  • Knowledge of design patterns and architectural frameworks.
  • Extensive hands-on experience maintaining products.
  • Hands-on experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, GitHub).

Nice-to-haves

  • Fluent in English (written/verbal).
  • Ability to work in virtual teams and in matrixed organizations.
