About the position

As a Technical Product Manager on the Applications team at Neighborly, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our service brands. Your primary responsibility will be to define the technical product roadmap and solutions by collaborating with stakeholders, including business owners and technology leaders, to develop new products or enhance existing ones. You will provide strategic direction for the products, ensuring that priorities are set and the backlog is groomed effectively. Working closely with Project Management teams, you will help define schedules and manage risks and issues that may arise during the product development lifecycle. In this role, you will also be responsible for building user and data flows for applications to ensure alignment among various stakeholders. As the Product Owner for the scrum team, you will provide day-to-day direction on functionality through detailed requirements documents and functional specifications. Your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences will be crucial as you translate user feedback into actionable technical requirements. You will also have the opportunity to organize and conduct training sessions or workshops for large groups, managing multiple projects simultaneously while applying advanced skills and practices to complete small to medium projects or complex components of larger projects. Responsibilities

  • Define tech product roadmap and solutions by working with stakeholders including business owners and technology leaders for new products or product enhancement/support.
  • Provide strategic direction for the products and prioritize the backlog.
  • Work with Project Management teams in defining the schedule and managing risks and issues.
  • Build user and data flow for the application to align different stakeholders.
  • Act as Product Owner for the scrum team and provide day-to-day direction on functionality through requirements documents and functional specifications.

Requirements

  • Experienced in technology projects, both back and front end.
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite, including Microsoft Access.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively (verbally and written) with business and IT stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Ability to effectively organize and present data in a format that is easily consumable by non-technical users.
  • Ability to translate user feedback and decisions into technical requirements.
  • Ability to organize and conduct training or workshops for large groups and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
