About the position

The Technical Product Manager at Gg Brands Company is a dynamic role that combines technical expertise with customer-facing responsibilities. The ideal candidate will manage product demos, support the sales team, and oversee a company-wide product training program. This position requires a strong understanding of the products and the ability to communicate complex technical information effectively. The role is essential for bridging the gap between technical details and customer needs, ensuring that the brand is represented well in various situations.

Responsibilities

• Manage the creation of product demos and supporting content for the Brand and Sales teams.
• Oversee a company-wide product training program, including management of the SharePoint site with technical product content.
• Provide technical sales support for the entire sales team, including attending PLRs, customer onboarding, and sales meetings.
• Support the marketing team in creating content, demos, and substantiation for advertising and social media.
• Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Service to provide hands-on product knowledge and application expertise.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Chemical, Materials, or Manufacturing Engineering or Technology with 3-5 years of experience, or an Associate Engineering degree with a minimum of 7 years of experience.
• Mechanical competence and hands-on skills with power equipment and woodworking/machine shop equipment.
• Strong technical foundation and experience in customer-facing roles.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous work experience in adhesives, tapes, and coatings.
• Experience in a customer-facing role is a plus.
