About the position

The Technical Product Manager role is pivotal in the modernization of the Enterprise Investment Product (EIP) application, specifically through the Polaris program. This program aims to eliminate the reliance on mainframe systems, enhance consumer access to high-quality product data via cloud technology, and optimize data management capabilities. The Technical Product Manager will oversee Analytics and Volatility data products, which include point-in-time analytical measures derived from fund benchmarks and holdings. The analytics data encompasses various statistical measures indicative of diversification, earnings, exchange, interest rate, and valuation risk, while the volatility data focuses on analytical measures derived from fund and benchmark returns, such as Standard Deviation and Sharpe Ratio. In this role, the Technical Product Manager will provide technical product management services, applying functional technical expertise to enhance product outcomes. They will participate in the design and continuous improvement of technical solutions, coach product teams towards standardized processes, and ensure effective communication and customer outreach. The manager will collaborate with various stakeholders to address production and implementation issues promptly, lead the planning and development of new technical products, and define detailed product features and requirements. Additionally, they will employ qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques to improve user experience and contribute to ongoing business planning and departmental prioritization activities. The role also involves participating in engineering practices related to development, continuous integration, and automated deployment, as well as engaging in special projects and other assigned duties.
