About the position

The Technical Product Manager Senior role at Siemens involves leading the development and management of Cloud native services within the Foundational Services Core Cloud Services Product Management team. This position is crucial for driving the transformation of Siemens' industrial software ecosystem to SaaS-delivered and Cloud-enabled products. The successful candidate will leverage their technical expertise and business acumen to define product strategies, collaborate with engineering teams, and ensure the delivery of exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Work with clients to identify unmet needs and define creative solutions with engineering.
  • Define product strategy, gain buy-in from stakeholders, and prioritize work to deliver on that strategy.
  • Collaborate with partner teams to define deliverables, roadmaps, and documentation for projects.
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, manage risks, and balance business and user needs against technical constraints.
  • Communicate effectively with technical owners, product managers, and upper management.
  • Drive enablement and adoption of Core Cloud services aligned with client objectives.
  • Implement process and tooling improvements to enhance visibility and output quality.
  • Maximize business benefits while identifying interdependencies between concurrent projects.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience; MBA is a strong plus.
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in Technical Product Management.
  • 10+ years of overall software industry experience.
  • Experience with agile development contexts.
  • Experience coordinating complex product development cycles and software development schedules.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a demanding and ambiguous environment.
  • Analytical acumen and comfort with generating and evaluating forecasts and metrics.
  • Experience defining projects, collecting requirements, and writing detailed specifications.
  • Ability to proactively identify and resolve risks and bottlenecks.
  • Excellent time and resource management skills.
  • Ability to interface with customers of varying technical abilities.
