About the position

The Technical Product Manager at Lexipol is responsible for driving product strategy and development for the SaaS-based Performance Reporting product aimed at the public safety market. This role involves collaborating with software developers and stakeholders to enhance product features, manage the product roadmap, and ensure successful delivery of solutions that meet customer needs. The position requires a blend of technical proficiency and business acumen to effectively communicate across various levels of the organization and to transform business concepts into actionable product updates.

Responsibilities

• Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Performance Reporting software solution.
• Collaborate with multiple teams and external developers to drive software development.
• Document product requirements and write clear user stories.
• Become a subject matter expert and trusted advisor for the Performance Reporting product.
• Manage and report on milestones, ensuring quality and on-time delivery.
• Identify, track, and clear risks and dependencies proactively.
• Follow a robust testing and release process for all deployments.
• Scope and implement improvements and changes as required.
• Ensure proper data collection and monitoring tools are in place.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Conduct product update presentations and gather feedback on success metrics.
• Ensure regular communication across all stakeholders.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience driving software delivery in an enterprise SaaS/PaaS organization.
• 3+ years of experience working within an Agile framework as a product owner, product manager, engineer, or subject matter expert.
• Strategic thinker with experience balancing short-term solutions and long-term vision.
• Ability to prioritize and organize work in a dynamic environment.
• Technically proficient with a proven track record of collaboration with engineering and non-technical teams.
• Superior problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for diverse audiences.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience designing and/or configuring front end and backend SaaS products.
• Experience delivering API-based data integrations.
• UI/UX skills for mockups and rapid prototyping.
• Experience using JIRA and Confluence.
• Familiarity with public safety.
• Experience with data analysis and algorithms.
• Experience with AI.
• Preferred certifications in Agile Scrum Product Owner, Kanban, Scaled Agile, PMI-ACP.
