About the position

The Technical Product Manager at Siemens will play a crucial role in the software team, focusing on developing and managing Cloud native services that enhance Siemens' industrial software ecosystem. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, startup-like environment within a large company, driving product strategy and collaborating with various teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Work with clients to identify unmet needs and collaborate with engineering to define solutions.
  • Define product strategy and gain buy-in from stakeholders while prioritizing work to deliver on that strategy.
  • Collaborate with partner teams to define deliverables, roadmaps, and documentation for projects.
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, manage risks, and balance business and user needs with technical constraints.
  • Communicate effectively with technical owners, product managers, and upper management.
  • Drive enablement and adoption of Core Cloud services aligned with client objectives.
  • Implement process and tooling improvements to enhance visibility and output quality.
  • Maximize business benefits while managing interdependencies between concurrent projects.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience; MBA is a strong plus.
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in Technical Product Management.
  • 10+ years of overall software industry experience.
  • Experience in an agile development context.
  • Experience coordinating complex product development cycles and software schedules.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a demanding and ambiguous environment.
  • Analytical skills for generating and evaluating forecasts and metrics.
  • Experience defining projects, collecting requirements, and writing specifications.
  • Ability to identify risks and resolve issues across departments.
  • Excellent time and resource management skills.
  • Ability to interface with customers of varying technical abilities.
