About the position

The Technical Product Manager (TPM) at SS&C serves as a crucial link between product management and technical teams, focusing on areas that require a deep understanding of technical initiatives. This role involves owning specific aspects of the product suite and acting as a subject matter expert to consult on technical matters across various initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring requirements are fully understood and that plans match expectations through a deeper understanding of architecture, functionality, and technical dependencies.
• Engaging with stakeholders to refine product requirements, prioritize features, define success criteria, and help shape the roadmap.
• Identifying emerging trends, product capabilities, and other opportunities to measure their potential value (or threat) to the portfolio.
• Understanding, researching, and following technical trends, and tracking competitors to conduct capability analysis regularly.
• Providing support for internal and customer demos, presentations, and training/documentation activities.
• Serving as a product evangelist and subject matter expert to the internal and external technical/developer community.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of product management and technical concepts.
• Experience in engaging with stakeholders and refining product requirements.
• Ability to analyze market trends and competitor capabilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in providing training and documentation support.
