About the position

HCSS is seeking a Technical Product Manager (Product Owner) who will play a crucial role in enhancing our innovative software solutions for the construction industry. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, decision-making capabilities, and collaborative skills to ensure that our products deliver maximum value to our customers and provide an exceptional user experience. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience as a Product Owner for a SaaS product and will be familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies. We are looking for someone with a proactive attitude who is committed to making their product and team successful. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as this role involves engaging with customers and cross-functional teams. The candidate should possess empathy for customers, be able to ask insightful questions, and have a passion for delivering value through innovation and simplicity. In this role, you will collaborate with prospective users, key customers, industry stakeholders, and executives to anticipate their needs and translate them into actionable product requirements. You will partner with stakeholders and customers to inform the product vision, strategy, features, and prioritization. Additionally, you will develop, own, and execute the product roadmap while prioritizing and maintaining the sprint backlog for assigned products, balancing the requirements of various stakeholders. As the 'go-to' expert for your product, you will unblock the team to ensure efficient progress and enable a constant feedback loop to maximize the benefits of customer and stakeholder feedback by analyzing it and integrating it into the product roadmap. Leading the product functional design process will also be a key responsibility, requiring an intimate knowledge of the users and technology.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with prospective users, key customers, industry stakeholders, and executives to anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirements.
• Partner with stakeholders and customers to inform the product vision, strategy, features, and prioritization.
• Develop, own, and execute the product roadmap.
• Prioritize and maintain the sprint backlog for assigned products, balancing the requirements of stakeholders.
• Serve as the 'go to' expert for your product and unblock the team to ensure efficient progress.
• Enable constant feedback loop to maximize the benefit of customer and stakeholder feedback by analyzing it and integrating it into the product roadmap.
• Lead the product functional design process based on an intimate knowledge of the users and technology.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience as a Product Owner for a SaaS software product.
• 1+ years of experience working with an Agile/Scrum team.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral, written, and presentation).
• Empathy for customers and a passion for delivering value through innovation and simplicity.
