You will own the execution of the product roadmap in your area and collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, architects, data scientists, analytics, and business partners throughout the product lifecycle, from ideation to execution. This role requires you to work in an agile environment that emphasizes continuous improvement, where your ideas and feedback are not only welcomed but encouraged. You will be empowered to make decisions that contribute meaningfully to the organization by balancing business needs with technical feasibility and complexity. In this position, you will develop, drive, and maintain a product roadmap that aligns business goals with technical requirements based on product strategy, delivering on milestones driven by Objectives and Key Results (OKRs). You will lead product discovery for defined customer problems, drawing insights and ideas that will impact the product roadmap and individual feature development. Your responsibilities will include gathering customer needs and synthesizing them into actionable technical requirements, as well as communicating the product vision, roadmap, and progress to partners across Macy's. You will maintain a healthy backlog of groomed, insight-driven user stories and work to align internal teams, including developers, engineers, quality assurance, and operations. Additionally, you will participate in engineering and analytical discussions regarding technology decisions and strategies related to product features that drive growth and technical optimization. Understanding data pipelines, automated systems, testing frameworks, and architectural diagrams will be crucial. You will also recognize, evaluate, and tackle risks while working with the engineering team to prioritize and manage the timely delivery of high-quality features. Your role will involve defining success criteria for testing and product acceptance, owning the creation and maintenance of product documentation, and collaborating to conduct market research to identify gaps and conduct capability analyses regularly.
