About the position

Volley Automation is seeking a Product / Program Manager to help unite all our ongoing product development under a single unified product strategy. You will be partnering with Engineering Leaders to manage timelines, expectations, and the overall strategic development roadmap. You will be adept in gathering data from a variety of sources into a cohesive product roadmap and aligning the organizational resources to that strategy. This is a broad role with strategic input but involves significant individual contributor work. You must be ready to jump into a complex, evolving environment and prioritize efficiently. You should expect that you will be setting up new systems, pulling together data from a variety of sources, working cross-functionally between the Product, Sales, and Engineering teams to balance competing priorities focused on maximizing value delivered by the engineering roadmap.

  • Manage the overall features and delivery schedule, proactively mitigating risks and keeping the scope of engineering efforts under control.
  • Own program communications and accelerate progress by driving crisp and timely decisions, clearing blockers, and escalating issues in an appropriate and timely manner.
  • Define showstoppers related to product quality, triage bugs, and ensure issues are resolved or mitigated in the right order.
  • Ensure that prioritization frameworks for features are followed and provide feedback on their impact and effectiveness.
  • Manage and reduce product level complexity through delivering minimum viable products, demonstrating them, and articulating their evolution.
  • Own project status communications, providing clear and concise summaries for the projects to the leadership/management team.
