About the position

The Technical Product Manager for the Aprisa product line at Siemens Digital Industries Software will play a pivotal role in shaping the product strategy and roadmap for this leading digital implementation tool. Aprisa is designed specifically for advanced process nodes, utilizing a unique detailed-route-centric Place and Route (P&R) technology that enables integrated circuit (IC) designers to achieve faster design closure with improved quality of results. The Technical Product Manager will be responsible for creating product collateral, engaging in product marketing, and overseeing program management. This position requires collaboration with the sales team to identify customer segments and develop effective sales strategies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in product management, particularly in the areas of digital implementation, including RTL synthesis, place and route, and sign-off timing/RC/DRC technology. With a minimum of five years of experience in EDA product management, application engineering, or R&D roles, the candidate should have a deep understanding of digital implementation methodologies, design flows, and the latest trends in the IC and EDA industries. The role demands excellent analytical capabilities and strong communication skills, as the Technical Product Manager will interact with various levels of senior management and present product offerings both internally and at industry events. In addition to technical expertise, the position requires the ability to manage cross-functional product development teams effectively. The candidate should be adept at developing and delivering compelling presentations for diverse audiences, ensuring that all communications are precise and effective. The role may also involve travel to support business and marketing events, highlighting the need for flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in product strategy and roadmap definition for the Aprisa product line.
  • Create product collateral and engage in product marketing activities.
  • Oversee program management for product development and launches.
  • Collaborate with the sales force to identify customer segments and develop sales strategies.
  • Develop and present product offerings to senior management and at industry events.
  • Manage cross-functional product development teams to ensure successful product delivery.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and customer needs.

Requirements

  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in EDA product management, application engineering, or R&D roles.
  • Strong background in digital implementation methodologies and design flows.
  • Experience with RTL synthesis, place and route, and sign-off timing/RC/DRC technology.
  • Excellent analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail.
