About the position

The Technical Product Manager will play a crucial role in managing data-focused projects within a prestigious Managed Service Provider (MSP) company. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and product management skills, with a strong emphasis on data engineering, data warehousing, and business intelligence reporting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing client-facing projects, ensuring effective communication, and maintaining strong relationships with clients while managing project execution and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage data engineering, data warehousing, and business intelligence reporting projects.
• Oversee project execution and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
• Utilize Agile methodology and Scrum practices in project management.
• Communicate effectively with clients and build transparent relationships.
• Understand project requirements and dependencies across different teams.
• Prioritize project asks and requirements based on client needs.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Evaluate team capacity and utilization to ensure efficiency.
• Act as a liaison between technical teams and clients, ensuring clear understanding of project goals.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in project management within the data space.
• Solid experience managing data engineering and data warehousing projects.
• Proficient in Agile methodology and Scrum practices.
• Strong client communication skills and relationship management experience.
• Ability to understand project requirements and dependencies.
• Experience in risk identification and mitigation strategies.
• Familiarity with financial aspects of projects, including contracts and budgeting.
