We are seeking a passionate Technical Product Manager to be a key player in the definition of our User Interface infrastructure and customer-facing software. This individual will be the Agile software product owner function working with our software engineering teams. The role involves managing team backlogs, detailing requirements, and collaborating with Agile teams at global R&D centers to deliver quality solutions. The Technical Product Manager will bridge the gap between our product management team and engineering teams to distill high-level requirements into actionable plans that our expert developers can execute on. In this position, you will work with the Technical Product Managers from other R&D teams to manage dependencies and collaborate with the engineering team on resources and lifecycle planning, including delivery estimates for new features and products. You will continuously evaluate, refactor, and iterate existing infrastructure components while complying with industry standards, making recommendations for improvement with best practices to increase quality and ensure secured deployments. Conducting Agile ceremonies for the engineering teams and continuing to upgrade technical and personal skills through internal and external training will also be part of your responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years working in an enterprise software development delivery role.
  • Minimum 3 years in hands-on software using Internet technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, engineering, science or equivalent.
  • Experience writing user stories, creating product backlogs, prioritizing work, and performing story acceptance is required.
  • Experience with Scrum and agile processes is required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Object oriented design and development experience.
  • Integration with enterprise applications and systems/APIs (Java/REST) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of programming/scripting like Java, Python, JavaScript and shell scripting on Windows as well as Linux platforms.
  • Knowledge of modern web development and UX best practices.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks like Angular or React.
  • Experience with productivity tools and languages (Windchill Integrity, Jira) is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable interacting with technical and business professionals at every level.
