About the position

Govini is seeking a technically-minded product leader to join our team as a Technical Product Manager. In this role, you will partner with traditional product managers to support and lead our teams of Forward Deployed Software Engineers. You will be the technical owner of true 0-to-1 initiatives, accountable for building new and differentiated capabilities into our Ark platform. This position is crucial as it involves moving quickly yet responsibly against urgent opportunities to develop products that meet the needs of our users while ensuring alignment with the Engineering organization and maintaining platform stability. As a product manager at Govini, you will work directly with customers, our implementation team, and our sales team, acting as the “tip of the spear” for understanding customer needs. Your responsibilities will include designing, specifying, prototyping, and launching new workflows and capabilities into full production within the Ark platform. You will need to possess exceptional judgment to balance competing priorities and make trade-offs effectively. Communication skills are vital, as you will be required to convey technical information to internal stakeholders and engineers, often in ambiguous circumstances. In a typical week, you can expect to collaborate with forward-deployed software engineers to scope, architect, and deliver product initiatives and prototypes. You will spend time onsite with users to understand their pain points and relate those to opportunities for new workflows. Additionally, you will partner with Product Managers to assess engineering costs and business value of proposed investments, and work with the sales team to align customer requirements with product capabilities.
