Additionally, the role involves making technical and data-driven decisions, effectively communicating options, value, and trade-offs to drive informed decision-making while ensuring alignment with the company's business strategy and product vision. The Technical Product Manager will develop a deep understanding of users, customers, product data, business constraints, competitive landscape, and market trends. This insight will be shared to drive focus and confidence in product delivery while identifying innovation opportunities. Building and maintaining strong relationships across the business is crucial, as effective communication with cross-functional teams will drive awareness and alignment throughout the product development lifecycle and during product launches. The role is dynamic, requiring the individual to embrace additional responsibilities as needed to support the company and ensure product success.

Responsibilities

  • Define and ensure measurable outcomes for product initiatives, prioritizing value over time to market.
  • Own the value and viability of product choices, aligning them with customer needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
  • Demonstrate grit, creativity, and persistence in tackling complex product challenges.
  • Collaborate with the product team (product managers, engineers, designers) to deliver innovative solutions that address real problems and achieve business results.
  • Drive the product vision through incremental steps, ensuring continuous and consistent value delivery throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Leverage AI to help customers drive smarter decision-making and stay updated on AI advancements to inform product strategy.
  • Understand the challenges in the technology stack and base product decisions on data, analysis, and technical judgment.
  • Develop a deep understanding of users, customers, product data, business constraints, competitive landscape, and market trends.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across the business and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Embrace a dynamic role, taking on additional responsibilities as needed to support the company and ensure product success.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience in an early-stage company.
  • Strong understanding of agile design and development processes in a startup environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and switch contexts effectively.
  • Strong product/project/program management fundamentals, with a proven ability to keep stakeholders informed and close the loop on communication.
  • Experience in developing and launching products/technologies within Cloud, SaaS, or enterprise environments.
  • A balanced skill set including both technical expertise and business acumen, particularly in B2B contexts.

Nice-to-haves

  • Understanding of data analytics, business intelligence, and reporting concepts, with a portfolio of successful analytics products launched for enterprise customers.
  • Experience with data visualization tools/data modeling.
