About the position

As a Technical Product Manager at GXO Logistics, you will be immersed in a dynamic and rapidly growing environment that is driven by achievement and a strong team spirit. Your role will involve leading strategic discussions with business partners to gather functional requirements and translating these into a coherent product strategy. You will work closely with the marketing team to cultivate product positioning and create collateral that generates excitement and facilitates user adoption. Your responsibilities will also include defining a detailed and executable rollout strategy for new features, releases, and products, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and informed throughout the process. In addition to product strategy, you will provide production-level support for Operations and Technology partners during operational go-lives and ongoing deployment validation of new functionalities. Clear communication will be key, as you will direct project team members on prioritizing functional requirement delivery timelines based on business partner expectations. You will facilitate cross-functional communication and decision-making, developing key stakeholder relationships across various locations to ensure that product directions align with user needs and business goals, such as driving sales, improving efficiency, and enhancing customer satisfaction. Your day-to-day activities will include participating in and leading standups, iteration planning sessions, product demos, and retrospectives, all aimed at fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic discussions with business partners to gather functional requirements and translate to product strategy
  • Cultivate product positioning and benefit statements, partnering with the marketing team to create collateral that generates excitement and makes it easy for users to adopt and understand the benefits
  • Define a thoughtful, detailed and executable rollout strategy for new features, releases and products
  • Provide production level support for Operations and Technology partners for operational go-live and ongoing deployment validation of new functionality
  • Provide clear direction to project team members on prioritization of functional requirement delivery timelines, per the expectation of business partners
  • Facilitate cross-functional communication and decision-making, while also developing key stakeholder relationships in various locations
  • Ensure that product directions balance both the user needs and business goals of driving sales, improving efficiency, and enhancing customer satisfaction
  • Participate in and lead standups, iteration planning sessions, product demo, and retrospectives

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
  • 2+ years' experience in Technical Product and Project Management
  • Technical knowledge of and experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP Systems, Order Management Systems (OMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and other Supply Chain Software
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications

Nice-to-haves

  • 5 years technology Product Management experience
  • 5 years' experience in Supply Chain or Warehousing operations
  • Proven experience in leading innovation, influencing stakeholders and driving a product roadmap
  • Mid to senior level Technical Product experience, including leading meetings and presenting to business stakeholders while being their main resource for all things related to technology innovation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present clean, organized and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience
  • Ability to work effectively under stressful or ambiguous conditions by adapting work style, approach and procedures
  • Self-motivated and able to work well with minimal direct supervision or in a team environment; consult with team members and management as needed
