The Technical Product Manager at CITC will play a pivotal role in enhancing the customer experience for both CITC and BirdBuffer clients. This position encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including the creation and maintenance of the product roadmap, thorough analysis of the competitive landscape, and a deep understanding of market needs. The Technical Product Manager will evaluate and source product designs, ensuring the delivery of new products and improvements to existing offerings. This role is highly technical, requiring a comprehensive understanding of customer workflows as well as the intricacies of the products and technologies involved. The individual will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the product portfolio, guiding the development and execution of strategies that align with customer needs and market trends. In this role, the Technical Product Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver a robust technical product portfolio. This includes pursuing and curating innovative ideas through prototyping and experimentation, as well as building and improving a network of external engineering and product firms to expedite the delivery of new products. The manager will be responsible for understanding the specifications and validation methods necessary for product development, owning the creation of appropriate test methods, data, and techniques for product verification, validation, and performance testing. By leveraging the voice of the customer, the Technical Product Manager will ensure that innovations effectively address real-world problems. Additionally, the Technical Product Manager will maintain a keen awareness of market trends, industry developments, and the competitive landscape, partnering with supply chain and operations teams to drive quality improvements and value engineering initiatives. The role also includes budgeting and managing external engineering agencies and individuals, ensuring that all projects align with the company's strategic goals and cultural values.
