About the position

The Technical Product Manager at ASUS Computer International is responsible for overseeing the development and optimization of gaming hardware and software products. This role requires a deep understanding of the gaming ecosystem, including hardware technologies, gaming platforms, and market trends. The manager will collaborate with various teams to ensure that product specifications meet gaming expectations and will act as a subject matter expert in gaming and hardware performance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of silicon selection and hardware technologies available to gamers.
• Track major gaming release content timelines and correlate trends to hardware development.
• Contribute as a subject matter expert for product development and planning timelines.
• Test and validate gaming performance against hardware expectations.
• Provide insights to optimize game and hardware experiences throughout the development process.
• Report and consolidate understandings of gaming and hardware into various product form factors and business models.
• Assist in the final selection and setting of spec guidance for hardware experiences.
• Collaborate with overseas teams for engineering and product development.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in gaming PC, console, hardware, accessories, or related fields.
• Proficient understanding of business models, product proposals, and engineering documentation.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to present analysis using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Mandarin is a plus.
• Ability to manage priorities and workflow effectively.
