In this role, the Technical Product Manager will be responsible for recognizing and articulating business problems or opportunities, defining target metrics, and creating well-formed epics or user stories for engineering teams. This will enable the teams to design, build, release, and monitor technical solutions efficiently. The position requires a collaborative approach, working closely with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and business experts, to manage product planning and execution effectively. Key projects include supporting tools and features, particularly a significant initiative involving the migration of Tableau to a cloud-based server. The Technical Product Manager will maintain and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business priorities and technology strategies. They will also be responsible for building and evangelizing product roadmaps, driving technical solutions for complex features, and defining product performance metrics to measure success and adoption. Additionally, the role involves resolving technical blocking issues and coordinating solutions across multiple technical teams, while also acting as a coach and mentor to team members on various competencies related to technical product management.
