About the position

The Technical Product Manager at Origence plays a vital role in the development and management of technical products, focusing on customer-centric solutions for Credit Unions. This position combines technical expertise with business acumen to drive product strategy, manage requirements, and ensure effective communication across teams. The PM will lead the research and strategy stages, collaborate with various stakeholders, and ensure the delivery of high-quality products that meet market needs.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and communicate the product vision, strategy, and goals.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product strategy with business objectives.
  • Define, manage, and communicate user personas.
  • Analyze competitive solutions and draft impact analyses as necessary.
  • Work with Compliance and Security teams to identify impacts on requirements.
  • Determine the necessary depth of innovation in solutions.
  • Gather and define product requirements with stakeholders to target the right solution path.
  • Write, manage, and prioritize features aligned with epic prioritization and acceptance criteria.
  • Guide the team through the Definition of Done and maintain data integrity in Azure DevOps.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Solution Execution team to ensure clear understanding of requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with development teams to make informed decisions.
  • Foster teamwork and promote the culture and values of the organization.
  • Drive team ownership, accountability, and pride in work.

Requirements

  • BA/BS Degree or advanced degree (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum of six years of experience in software, system, and/or business analysis.
  • Experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or Senior Business Analyst developing or launching new features.
  • Strong soft skills to gain support from internal clients and stakeholders quickly.
  • Knowledge of the financial industry and/or credit union operations.
  • Strong technical background with hands-on experience in software development or engineering.
