About the position

BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Technical Product Manager for an opportunity in Redmond, WA. This position is a contract role that allows for remote work from anywhere in the USA. The anticipated start date is as soon as possible, although this is subject to change. The expected duration of the contract is 6 months, and the pay range for this position is between $50 and $60 per hour, depending on various factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities. The Technical Product Manager will play a crucial role in representing business requirements and priorities in the development of products. This includes maintaining the current status of customer requirements for existing and future products, proactively seeking user feedback to improve application design and deployment, and incorporating business direction and strategy into the product planning process. The role also involves developing relationships with Program Managers to facilitate product development, identifying and recommending marketing opportunities consistent with product line objectives, and demonstrating and positioning products to both internal and external audiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, particularly in data analysis and technical SEO solutions, and will be expected to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects. Strong communication skills are essential, as the Technical Product Manager will need to collaborate effectively with both internal and external customers. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, and knowledge of Microsoft products and strategies, as well as marketing experience with high-tech products, is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Represents business requirements and priorities in the development of products.
  • Maintains current status of customer requirements for existing and future products.

  • Maintains knowledge of business direction and strategy and incorporates requirements into the product planning process.

  • Demonstrates and positions product to internal and external audiences.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years experience with expertise in data analysis and structure, including refining key performance indicators.
  • Minimum 3 years experience with implementing technical SEO solutions in large scale content migrations.
  • Minimum 3 years experience with defining technical standards that adhere to privacy and security best practices.
  • 3-5 years of work-related experience in product management, including developing functional specifications and data analysis required.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, along with the ability to work with internal and external customers required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects required.
  • Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of MS products and strategies preferred.
  • Marketing experience with high-tech products preferred.
