As a Technical Product Marketing Manager, you will dive deep into the technical aspects of both Logitech's and competitors' products, focusing on functionality, feature sets, compatibility, and setup processes. Your role is to conduct comprehensive analyses of competitor portfolios, solutions, and software, uncovering strategic strengths and weaknesses to position Logitech effectively in the market. With this technical insight, you'll create and present internal guides, educational materials, and content that empower our teams to compete confidently. You will develop in-depth expertise in Logitech's portfolio, ensuring our commercial teams have the knowledge and tools needed to differentiate our products in a competitive landscape. Working closely with stakeholders across the Logitech for Business sales and marketing groups, you'll lead the creation of marketing initiatives, including portfolio narratives, industry guides, and solution guides. Your ability to produce clear, concise content across various mediums—from videos to white papers—will be key to communicating our value proposition both internally and externally.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze competitor products with a technical focus, assessing functionality, feature sets, compatibility, and setup processes to gain a deep understanding of their capabilities, performance, and positioning.
  • Conduct higher-level analysis of competitor portfolios, solution sets, and software to gain a deep understanding of strategic strengths and weaknesses.
  • Develop in-depth technical expertise in Logitech's portfolio, gaining a comprehensive understanding of its functionality, feature sets, compatibility, and setup processes to effectively compare it with competitor offerings.
  • Create and present internal guides and educational materials on competitive portfolios and Logitech positioning.
  • Develop and execute marketing initiatives at the solution level, including portfolio narratives, industry guides, and solution guides.
  • Create content across various mediums, including videos, slide decks, white papers, and articles.
  • Ensure effective communication through various channels, both internal and external.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in grasping technical features and functionalities of hardware products.
  • Self-starter. Identifies issues, opportunities, and needs on their own; takes initiative, builds plans and executes without constant direction.
  • Perseverance. Able to work with different stakeholders, juggle a variety of priorities and get projects to the finish line.
  • Interest in technology and hardware. A keen fascination with productivity technology, encompassing the hardware/devices, technical components, features, and software.
  • Storytelling. A narrator that can tell the story of how our products solve problems and evolve the workplace.
  • Excellent writing ability. Demonstrated track record of short form and long form content.
  • Excellent verbal communication & presentation skills both during meetings and on camera.
  • Strong understanding of product positioning and strategic marketing principles.
  • Ability to thrive in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated success in thinking strategically and adapting to changing priorities.
  • Able to commute to the Logitech Irvine office ~2 days a week.
