About the position

As a Technical Product Marketing Manager at Stytch, you will play a pivotal role in positioning Stytch's developer infrastructure as a leader in the evolving landscape of application infrastructure. This position is integral to our mission of eliminating friction on the internet by providing developers with the best tools for authentication, authorization, and fraud prevention. You will collaborate closely with engineers and product owners to craft clear, credible, and compelling product messaging that resonates with the software development community. Your work will not only involve internal collaboration but also engaging with external stakeholders to build empathy for customers and understand their unique challenges and workflows. In this role, you will be responsible for creating impactful content that communicates the value of our products. Whether it’s developing a new sales deck, producing technical videos, or drafting press releases for product launches, your storytelling skills will be essential in conveying complex technical concepts in an accessible manner. You will take pride in your attention to detail and your ability to prioritize tasks that drive significant impact. Your success will be measured by your ability to launch products and features effectively, working alongside product and sales teams to develop strategies and align the organization on execution plans. You will also be tasked with sales enablement, creating training materials and customer-facing content that empowers our sales teams. Conducting customer research to develop buyer personas and synthesizing competitive intelligence will be key components of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will engage actively with our developer community, representing Stytch and becoming a trusted voice within the space, organizing events, and participating in discussions to gather insights and share knowledge about our products.

Responsibilities

  • Launch products and features to market, managing the entire effort from strategy development to execution.
  • Work with sales managers to develop and execute an enablement plan, creating necessary training materials and content.
  • Conduct customer research and develop buyer personas to inform product and marketing strategies.
  • Perform competitive and market analysis, synthesizing findings into competitive battlecards.
  • Synthesize market, customer success, and sales needs to inform the external product roadmap.
  • Identify content needs based on customer adoption of the platform and produce relevant materials.
  • Engage with and lead the developer community, representing Stytch and participating in community events.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a technical Product Marketing role or equivalent.
  • Experience with software development, whether through formal education or self-directed learning.
  • Strong storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Proven project management skills, with the ability to strategize and execute projects effectively.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in creating technical content such as videos, sales decks, and press releases.
  • Familiarity with the software development community and its challenges.
  • Public speaking experience and a portfolio of work that demonstrates writing and communication skills.
