About the position

The Technical Product Marketing Manager at Sentry will be responsible for developing and executing the go-to-market strategy to enhance product awareness, adoption, and expansion. This role requires a deep understanding of the product, target audience, and market landscape, as well as collaboration with cross-functional teams and strategic partners to drive product success and influence product development.

Responsibilities

  • Craft and execute a creative product marketing strategy and shape the go-to-market motion.
  • Drive acquisition, adoption, and activation strategies for measurement-focused product areas.
  • Influence product strategy with market insights to drive revenue and product success.
  • Understand the needs and challenges of developers to ensure their success with Sentry.
  • Plan and coordinate product launches to grow awareness and engagement.
  • Develop concise, benefits-driven messaging and value propositions for developers and self-serve customers.
  • Identify content gaps and creatively drive demand metrics from awareness to expansion.

Requirements

  • 10 years of B2B product/marketing experience.
  • Experience with developer relations or community engagement is a plus.
  • Familiarity with software development processes and developer teams.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing multi-channel campaigns that meet business objectives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience as a developer in a past role.
  • Ability to prioritize competing opportunities effectively.
