About the position

The Technical Product Marketing Manager will play a crucial role in driving product marketing initiatives through the creation of high-quality technical content. This position involves close collaboration with the Senior Director of Product Marketing, sales, and product teams to craft a compelling technical narrative that raises awareness, drives adoption, and ensures ongoing success of the products. The role is pivotal in developing content that enhances demand, streamlines sales cycles, and boosts partner engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize, develop, and manage a detailed content marketing strategy, including the creation of high-quality, informative, and engaging technical content such as white papers, product guides, blog posts, and video scripts.
  • Regularly produce and update sales materials that effectively communicate product features, benefits, and competitive advantages.
  • Coordinate with Sales and Product teams to ensure content accuracy and relevance, fostering collaborative relationships for seamless content integration.
  • Communicate the unique value proposition of solutions, products, and services, highlighting differentiation and competitive analysis.
  • Conduct market analysis with industry analysts for product development, marketing strategies, and pricing optimization.
  • Work closely with enablement teams to develop and deliver comprehensive training materials and demos.
  • Ensure that the sales force and customer-facing teams are well-equipped with the knowledge and tools needed to effectively communicate the value propositions and technical benefits.
  • Develop targeted technical content to support partner initiatives and marketing campaigns that highlight the unique features and benefits of the product and ensure customers quickly understand and utilize the product's capabilities.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in a technical product marketing or technical customer-facing role.
  • Demonstrated experience in creating and managing technical content for product marketing within the cybersecurity or cyber recovery space.
  • Strong technical background in the cybersecurity or cyber recovery domain, with an in-depth understanding of the security and storage buyer personas and the ability to align content with their needs.
  • Ability to distill complex technical information into clear, engaging, and easily understandable content for a variety of audiences.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and content creation skills, with a portfolio showcasing diverse formats and styles.
  • Proven success in collaborating with cross-functional teams to produce cohesive and impactful technical marketing content.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment in a high-growth organization while managing multiple priorities and stakeholders.
