About the position

The Technical Product Owner ERP Finance at Johnson & Johnson will play a pivotal role in supporting the Pharm TranSCend program, which aims to modernize foundational transactional processes and harmonize them into a single, efficient ERP system. This position is primarily focused on Accounts Receivable/Payable, CFIN replication, and Supply Chain Integrated finance processes. The ideal candidate will be located in the United States, preferably in Titusville, NJ, or in EMEA, with a preferred location in Beerse, BE. As part of the Pharm Transcend Program, the Technical Product Owner will be an integral member of the Pharm Supply Chain JJT team, driving global standardization of ERP technology solutions. This includes overseeing areas such as Accounts Payable/Receivable, Revenue Accounting, Gross to Net, CFIN replication, VIM, Business Partner master data, and FSCM - Credit Management. The role requires close collaboration with the CFIN Transact program, focusing on co-innovation and integrated capabilities like Central Pay and Central Fixed Assets. The position involves leading the design, validation, and delivery of SAP S/4 capabilities and data, ensuring alignment with business process needs. The Technical Product Owner will govern the scope of the SAP S/4 template, driving innovation and evolution through deployments. Responsibilities include translating business requirements into technical solutions, facilitating release planning, managing integrated builds with the Engineering team, and ensuring compliance with SDLC documentation and system configuration. In addition, the Technical Product Owner will shape the squad's vision and roadmap, interact with other squads for synchronization, and drive continuous improvement across the product lifecycle. This role is essential for ensuring that the Pharm business is supported with agility and efficiency, ultimately contributing to the overarching goal of creating a world without disease.

Responsibilities

  • Drive global standardization of ERP technology solutions in Accounts Payable/Receivable, Revenue Accounting, and related areas.
  • Lead the design, validation, and delivery of SAP S/4 capabilities and data aligned with business process needs.
  • Govern the scope of the SAP S/4 template and drive template innovation and evolution through deployments.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions and improve user experience.
  • Facilitate release planning, sprint planning, and demos with stakeholders.
  • Manage the integrated build with the Engineering team to ensure compliance and functionality.
  • Oversee planning and execution of Technical Testing and support User Acceptance Testing.
  • Shape the squad vision and roadmap, steering the squad in delivering impactful products and features.
  • Interact with other squads for synchronization and implement cross-squad tasks.
  • Drive engagement with third parties to support squad objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience; at least 5 years of SAP experience; and 5 years of Pharma experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Supply Chain FINANCE business processes, including Integrated Manufacturing Processes and Period end closing.
  • Expertise in SAP-FSCM Credit Management, Accounts Receivables & Payables.
  • Strong SAP FICO knowledge with 2-3 years of S4 HANA experience.
  • Understanding of system integration methodologies like APIs, IDOCs, and SLT.
  • Experience in Pharmaceuticals/Healthcare industry with knowledge of SOX & GxP compliance regulations.
  • Experience with Agile methodology and understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle Management model.
