About the position

The Technical Product Owner/Project Manager - Risk Management is a strategic role responsible for driving the overall vision and execution of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Portal. This position serves as a liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration to meet project goals. The role requires a blend of project management and product ownership skills, with a focus on risk management and enterprise software integration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the overall strategic vision for the ERM Portal as an enterprise software.
  • Coordinate with business leads and senior pillar business leads to define requirements and drive adoption.
  • Meet with upper management and liaisons to define requirements and enhancements for CRO Dashboards and Attestation sign offs.
  • Lead cross-cutting meetings with key stakeholders, outlining takeaways and action items with appropriate follow-up.
  • Gather and document business requirements.
  • Develop individual project artifacts including Business Requirements Documentation (BRD's), Functional Requirements Documentation (FRD's), and test planning documents for user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Manage day-to-day project responsibilities including milestone setting and task management.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with business stakeholders and development team members.
  • Identify key project risks and manage to resolution or escalate accordingly.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to senior stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 6-10 years' experience in a related role.
  • Extremely organized, motivated, and a self-starter.
  • Ability to prioritize and juggle several tasks at once.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience working with Agile Methodologies and Tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Track record as a Business Analyst within the Financial Services/Investment Banking industry.
