About the position

The Technical Product Owner (TPO) for Value Chain Management (VCM) at Johnson & Johnson is responsible for driving the design and implementation of innovative medicine product flows within the Pharm Transcend program. This role focuses on modernizing foundational transactional processes and harmonizing them into a standardized ERP platform to enhance efficiency and support the Pharm business. The TPO will engage with business partners to define user stories, prioritize backlogs, and ensure the delivery of technical solutions that meet organizational needs.

Responsibilities

  • Drive design and implementation of Innovative Medicine Product flows based on SAP Procurement capabilities.
  • Lead design, validation, and delivery of SAP S/4 capabilities aligned with business process needs.
  • Govern the scope of the SAP S/4 template and drive template innovation through deployments.
  • Engage with business partners to define user stories and prioritize backlog.
  • Translate requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria, balancing business value with technical feasibility.
  • Lead the translation of business requirements into technical solutions and improve user experience.
  • Facilitate release planning and manage the integrated build with the Engineering team.
  • Oversee planning and execution of Technical Testing and User Acceptance Testing.
  • Shape the squad vision and roadmap, driving engagement with third parties to support delivery objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience; at least 5 years of SAP experience; 5 years in Pharma.
  • Strong understanding of Financial and Logistical Flows in multinational operations.
  • Knowledge of SAP-ERP Logistics capabilities: Materials Management, Procurement, MRP, Production Planning, Subcontract management.
  • Experience in Pharmaceuticals/Healthcare industry with knowledge of SOX & GxP compliance regulations.
  • Experience with Agile methodology and understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle Management model.
  • Applied knowledge of S/4 HANA preferred.

  • Knowledge of cross-border stock transfer (STO) and VAT integration with Vertex.
