The AR SW Technologies Technical Program Manager will be an integral part of one of the most exciting product lines in the industry, focusing on the success of Augmented Reality (AR) products. In this role, you will lead the software development of new software technologies, product features, and software platform capabilities for future generations of AR devices. This position is highly cross-functional, requiring an experienced leader with strong technical, program management, and leadership skills. We seek technical program managers who are passionate about bringing new and complex technologies to life, who are natural motivators, cross-functional relationship builders, and champions for driving the right level of process to ensure smooth and predictable program execution in a fast-paced innovative environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical program management experience for consumer products and will have demonstrated experience leading large initiatives and teams. As a Software Technical Program Manager, you will manage and own complex cross-functional program execution within a large matrix organization that spans product management, user experience, software engineering, hardware, firmware, quality assurance, and data science. You will be involved from the early stages of development through to the launch of products to customers. Your responsibilities will include developing and managing end-to-end program plans, ensuring on-time delivery by working across organizations and domains, and leading launch/release activities related to models, firmware, and end-to-end software features and deliverables. You will also drive and influence technical strategy, proactively identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, align on priorities, and set direction for a broadly cross-functional area. Establishing best practices along with key performance indicators to ensure success will be crucial, as will ongoing communication of planning, program status, issues, and risks to stakeholders. You will need to distill complex topics into clear communications for program stakeholders and executive management.
