The AR SW Experiences Technical Program Manager will be an integral part of a cutting-edge product line, focusing on the success of Augmented Reality (AR) products. This role involves leading the software development of new software experiences, product features, and software platform capabilities for the next generation of AR devices. As a Software Technical Program Manager, you will engage in a highly cross-functional environment, necessitating a leader with robust technical, program management, and leadership skills. You will champion the right processes to ensure smooth and predictable program execution in a fast-paced, innovative setting. In this role, you will manage and own the execution of complex cross-functional programs within a large matrix organization. This includes collaboration with product management, user experience, software engineering, hardware, firmware, quality assurance, and data science teams, from the early stages of development through to customer launch. You will be responsible for developing and managing comprehensive program plans, ensuring timely delivery across various organizations and domains. Your leadership will extend to overseeing launch and release activities related to software features and deliverables, driving and influencing technical strategy, and proactively identifying risks while developing mitigation strategies. You will also establish best practices and key performance indicators to ensure program success, designing and scaling solutions to enhance efficiency. Effective communication is crucial in this role; you will be expected to provide ongoing updates regarding planning, program status, issues, and risks to stakeholders. Your ability to distill complex topics into clear communications for program stakeholders and executive management will be essential for success.
