About the position

The Technical Program Manager for Data Center Engineering at AWS Infrastructure Services is responsible for managing and enhancing content management systems, technical documentation, and data analysis/reporting processes. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality documentation and data center solutions while leveraging various tools and technologies to support scalable data infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, maintain, and enhance content management systems using reStructuredText (reST) for data center-specific designs and products.
  • Prepare and manage comprehensive technical documentation, including user guides, API reference materials, and FAQs.
  • Work with business stakeholders to build data sets, reports, and dashboards that provide actionable insights.
  • Oversee central git-based repositories for technical documentation and manage the graphical user interface (GUI) portal.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure the delivery of high-quality documentation and data center solutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience managing and improving content management systems, preferably leveraging reStructuredText (reST).
  • 3+ years of experience in developing and optimizing business intelligence dashboards and reports using Tableau, SQL, AWS Redshift, S3, QuickSight, and Smartsheet.
  • 3+ years of experience in designing and implementing scalable ETL pipelines and data infrastructure.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proven ability to identify and address gaps in documentation and data processes.
  • Experience leveraging AWS Resources.
  • Expertise in document control processes, including template implementation and standardization.
