About the position

The Sr. Technical Program Manager (TPM) for FireTV will play a crucial role in launching FireTV devices by coordinating across various teams within Amazon. Responsibilities

• Manage large cross-group coordination for FireTV device launches.
• Deeply understand platform-level technologies related to FireTV.
• Prepare and communicate detailed data analysis and summaries.
• Influence technical architecture and design decisions to enhance user experiences.
• Implement useful processes and eliminate ineffective ones.
• Engage in coding when necessary to support project goals.
• Continuously seek innovative solutions to improve project outcomes.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams.
• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years of technical program management experience with software engineering teams.
• Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams and coordinating release schedules.

Nice-to-haves

• 5+ years of project management experience including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management.
• Experience defining KPIs/SLAs for multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership.
