About the position

The Technical Program Manager for Ground Infra Services at Project Kuiper is responsible for overseeing the delivery of ground infrastructure necessary for the launch and expansion of broadband services globally. This role involves developing strategies, managing finances, coordinating legal requirements, and navigating operational complexities in various countries. The position requires collaboration across multiple teams and stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery and financial health of the sites.

Responsibilities

• Developing country strategy to provide ground capacity for service launch/expansion.
• Tracking Gateways delivery health and holding owners across a dozen teams accountable and escalating when risk arises.
• Managing finances of each site.
• Coordinating legal entities and proper licenses for each site.
• Effectively navigating operational complexities in different countries, many of which Amazon has no presence in, that have language and cultural barriers.
• Communicating the progress and challenges within the working team and during VP level MBRs.

Requirements

• 3+ years of technical product or program management experience
• 3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.
