About the position

Meta is seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead the development and deployment of next-generation server platforms that support Meta's software workloads. This role involves working with cross-functional teams to drive product definition, design, integration, and validation of new hardware products, particularly in the areas of AI/ML, Compute, and Storage servers. The TPM will be responsible for managing individual product development programs, ensuring successful delivery of hardware into data centers, and influencing roadmaps based on technical and business considerations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical program management of server platforms for Meta Infrastructure.
  • Own overall program success spanning the end-to-end development of the hardware product.
  • Develop and manage the overall program including defining scope, requirements, development model, schedules, and deliverables.
  • Influence broader roadmaps through product interception and market fit, competitive analysis, and feasibility studies.
  • Provide hands-on program management during analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post-implementation phases.
  • Perform risk assessment, risk mitigation, and change management on programs.
  • Drive process improvements across multiple functional areas.
  • Manage and drive strategic vendor engagements and deliveries.

Requirements

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
  • 7+ years of experience in systems engineering, hardware engineering, software engineering, or technical product/program management.
  • Knowledge of server systems, CPUs, GPUs, Memory, and ASICs.
  • Experience delivering hardware programs or products from inception to delivery.
  • Knowledge of user needs, gathering requirements, and defining scope.
  • Experience operating autonomously across multi-disciplinary teams.

  • Experience in hardware project life cycle management.
  • Experience with data center architecture and deployment.
  • Experience working with ODMs and other vendors.
  • Experience working in a start-up environment and technical infrastructure management.
