About the position

Meta is seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead the development and deployment of next-generation server platforms that support Meta's software workloads. This role involves working with cross-functional teams to drive product definition, design, integration, and validation of hardware products, particularly in the areas of AI/ML, Compute, and Storage servers. The TPM will be responsible for managing individual product development programs, ensuring successful delivery of hardware into data centers, and influencing roadmaps based on technical and business considerations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical program management of server platforms for Meta Infrastructure across various areas including Data Center, Network, Hardware Systems, and Software Engineering.
  • Own overall program success spanning the end-to-end development of hardware products, including servers, modules, and subsystems.
  • Develop and manage the overall program by defining scope, requirements, development model, schedules, and deliverables with engineering teams and stakeholders.
  • Influence broader roadmaps through product interception, market fit analysis, and feasibility studies.
  • Provide hands-on program management during analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post-implementation phases.
  • Perform risk assessment, risk mitigation, and change management on programs.
  • Drive process improvements across multiple functional areas.
  • Manage and drive strategic vendor engagements and deliveries.

Requirements

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
  • 7+ years of experience in systems engineering, hardware engineering, software engineering, or technical product/program management.
  • Knowledge of server systems, CPUs, GPUs, Memory, and ASICs.
  • Experience delivering hardware programs or products from inception to delivery.
  • Ability to gather user needs, define scope, and manage requirements.
  • Experience operating autonomously across multi-disciplinary teams with critical thinking and thought leadership.
  • Strong organizational, coordination, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving experience with large-scale systems.
