As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will leverage your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from inception to completion. This role requires you to collaborate with various stakeholders to plan project requirements, identify potential risks, manage project schedules, and communicate effectively with cross-functional partners throughout the organization. You will be responsible for explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives while also engaging in technical discussions with engineers regarding product development trade-offs. Your work will directly contribute to building a Google that reflects the diversity of the world around us, fostering an inclusive environment where all Googlers can thrive and grow. The Core team, which you will be a part of, is responsible for establishing the technical foundation behind Google's flagship products. This team advocates for the essential design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure that ensure excellent, safe, and coherent user experiences. By building central solutions and breaking down technical barriers, the Core team plays a crucial role in driving innovation across all of Google's products. You will have the unique opportunity to influence significant technical decisions that impact the entire company. In this position, you will coordinate and deliver program communications in close collaboration with program stakeholders. This includes tracking metrics progress, documenting meeting notes, managing action items, and maintaining decision and escalation logs. You will also be responsible for collecting data related to program progress, maintaining project trackers, and authoring program charters that outline the scope, timeline, objectives, and resource requirements of various programs. Additionally, you will create stakeholder maps to identify those impacted by and influencing program outcomes, and you will triage technical bugs and feature requests alongside engineering stakeholders to prioritize and track execution effectively.
