About the position

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will leverage your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from inception to completion. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and maintain clear communication with cross-functional partners throughout the organization. You will be responsible for explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives while also discussing technical trade-offs in product development with engineers. Your work will support the broader Global Logistics Organization (GLO) by extracting, developing, and visualizing data across all global operations, ultimately providing visibility and recommendations to Operations on servicing internal Google Cloud customers. In this position, you will collect, clean, and structure logistics and supply chain data from various sources, ensuring data integrity and quality. You will define, track, and analyze critical supply chain metrics such as on-time delivery, inventory levels, transportation costs, and demand forecast accuracy, identifying areas for improvement. Conducting analyses to pinpoint the root causes of supply chain inefficiencies, issues, or cost drivers will be a key part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will develop models to enhance demand forecasting, optimize inventory allocation, improve route planning, and streamline other supply chain processes. Your role will require you to partner with teams across logistics, procurement, sales, and operations to understand their data needs and drive data-informed decision-making. Google is committed to building a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace, and as part of this effort, you will contribute to creating a Google that reflects the world around us, fostering a sense of belonging for all Googlers.
