About the position

The Technical Program Manager role at Apple focuses on supporting iPhone Final Assembly through various engineering responsibilities. This position involves ensuring that new products are manufacturable, providing production support, and designing processes to enhance quality and efficiency. The role requires collaboration across teams and includes responsibilities in product engineering, process engineering, and failure/data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide early and ongoing manufacturing involvement to ensure new products are mechanically manufacturable.
• Work through all phases of a product from concept to repeat manufacturing to end of life.
• Provide production support engineering with respect to technically complex testing methods, procedures, and failure analysis.
• Design and develop technically complex processes to improve quality and efficiency.
• Plan, develop, and implement technically complex procedures for testing and evaluating soon-to-be-released products.

Requirements

• Meaningful experience (3+ years) in introducing products into manufacturing or high volume production.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field.

Nice-to-haves

• Excellent project management skills (Planning, Cost, & Delivery).
• Experience working in a matrix organization.
• Direct experience leading functional engineering teams such as Mechanical, Electrical, Test, DFX, etc.
• Experience working with international OEM partners.
• New product introduction and Manufacturing Operations experience.
