About the position

As a Technical Program Manager I at Google, you will leverage your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects, particularly in the Resource Engineering and Machine Learning domains. Your role will involve collaborating with stakeholders to plan project requirements, manage schedules, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams. You will be instrumental in driving efficiency and maximizing business value through data analytics and resource management, contributing to innovative projects like Project Starline.

Responsibilities

• Work with product area partners to understand their needs and provide them a guided resource management experience.
• Work with engineers to discover efficiency opportunities in the existing resource footprints we manage.
• Use tooling in order to drive capacity allocations and allied processes.
• Invest in making personal contributions to improving processes and tools, as well as partnering with other teams to drive scale-up through automation.
• Drive analysis and metrics to improve the ability to maximize business value from the resources available.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 1 year of experience in program management.
• Experience with a programming language (e.g., Python, SQL, or JavaScript).
• Experience with data analytics.
