About the position

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will leverage your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from inception to completion. This role requires you to collaborate with various stakeholders to plan project requirements, identify potential risks, manage project schedules, and maintain clear communication with cross-functional partners throughout the organization. You will be responsible for guiding software engineering projects, influencing teams involved in the design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and enhancement of software solutions. In this role, you will prioritize program goals, translate stakeholder needs into actionable deliverables, and contribute to decision-making processes regarding project priorities. You will define the scope of projects, develop and execute project plans, and monitor key metrics to ensure program success. Your proactive approach will involve identifying deviations from expected metrics and implementing corrective actions as necessary. You will also be expected to foster collaboration among stakeholders across multiple teams to drive impact and achieve mutual objectives. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience managing projects.
  • Experience with tooling, automation, data analytics, or building dashboards.
  • Experience implementing regulatory processes or compliance audits.

Nice-to-haves

  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience with workflow automation.
  • Experience with Data Governance or Compliance programs/processes.
  • Experience developing data-based guidelines, policies, and procedures.
  • Experience managing engineering projects with cross-team interactions.
