About the position

As a Technical Program Manager III at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects focused on new product introduction in the Cloud Infrastructure domain. Your role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to plan project requirements, manage schedules, and communicate effectively across teams. You will leverage your technical expertise to drive the technical direction of programs, ensuring successful delivery of machine learning systems for internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical program management for machine learning system NPIs across all phases of the product life-cycle.
• Shape technical direction across multiple teams, adding value to various engineering efforts.
• Manage escalations and unblock obstacles, ensuring all leadership/stakeholders are aware of progress/blockers on a continuous basis.
• Guide alignment on timelines, goals, and deliverables of related projects and teams, driving strategic and tactical decisions throughout all organizations and levels.
• Drive platform infrastructure engineering activities and program manage across diverse cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in program management.
• Experience with new product introduction across software or hardware products.

Nice-to-haves

• 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
• Experience with machine learning.
• Experience communicating with executives, with excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of system design, software, and tools and operations.
• Excellent written and presentation skills with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical audiences.
