About the position

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will leverage your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from inception to completion. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate effectively with cross-functional partners. You will be responsible for launching new memory machines for SAP use cases and delivering a reliability roadmap, while also leading engineering teams to ensure exceptional reliability for systems and guiding cross-functional teams in delivering New Product Introductions (NPIs).

Responsibilities

  • Lead a diverse cross-functional team to develop and deliver programs from inception to production.
  • Set the idea and direction for a program.
  • Drive project delivery, technology reviews, and challenge proposals and consensus.
  • Ensure all leadership/stakeholders are aware of progress/blockers on a continuous basis.
  • Drive strategic and tactical decisions throughout all organizations and levels.
  • Enable execution across multiple teams and drive delivery across the complete portfolio of Cloud products and solutions.
  • Engage with engineering directors, product leaders, and other groups to streamline processes and simplify execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program management.
  • Experience in software engineering, hardware engineering, system testing, or new product introduction.

Nice-to-haves

  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience with launching data center products and deployments.
  • Experience running programs and managing teams.
  • Ability to set strategy, navigate ambiguity, and drive short and long-term deliverables.
  • Excellent program management skills with knowledge of distributed systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
