About the position

As a Technical Program Manager III at Google Cloud, you will leverage your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from inception to completion. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to define requirements, manage project schedules, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for driving the technical direction of programs, ensuring high-quality software development, and identifying opportunities for process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for release schedules and milestones, maintaining high velocity in a fast-paced environment.
• Prioritize program goals and translate stakeholders' needs into prioritized deliverables.
• Identify, communicate, and collaborate with stakeholders to drive impact and work toward mutual goals.
• Lead several technical programs for the Google Cloud Business, managing associated financial and human resources, quality of software development, risks, schedules, and deliverables.
• Initiate new software development programs and deliver software features that enhance performance, scale, functionality, security, quality, and efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in program management.
• Experience with software systems deployment.

Nice-to-haves

• 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
• Experience working across a distributed, highly integrated team with both technical and non-technical members.
• Experience launching NPI products in the Compute, Networking, and Infrastructure areas.
• Experience in launching Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence products from research to production.
• Ability to identify organizational needs, establish priorities, work independently, and drive results through informal authority.
