About the position

As a Technical Program Manager III at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects focused on the Privacy Sandbox initiative. This role involves managing project schedules, identifying risks, and communicating effectively with stakeholders. You will onboard new partner teams, create strategies for Privacy Sandbox integration, and collaborate with various teams to enhance the web and Android platform's privacy features.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using engineering expertise.
• Plan requirements with internal customers and manage projects through the entire lifecycle.
• Manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate them to stakeholders.
• Onboard new Google partner teams to live testing strategy by creating a pitch deck.
• Originate ideas and strategy on Privacy Sandbox integration.
• Meet with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and senior stakeholders in prospective products.
• Define the scope of projects and develop, execute, or manage project plans.
• Review key metrics pertaining to a program and define corrective actions for critical deviations.
• Support Privacy Sandbox on Android product quality programs with technical and program management leadership.
• Coordinate across multiple testing teams and cross-functional development teams to align release timelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in program management.
• Experience with software engineering focused on Android builds or Android application development.

Nice-to-haves

• 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
• 5 years of experience in technical program management in a consumer software industry.
• Experience with Android release processes or building quality assurance and system health processes.
