About the position

The Technical Program Manager III is responsible for the successful definition, implementation, and delivery of complex programs that require cross-functional collaboration and interdependencies across various projects and activities. This role involves strategic planning, managing project scope, and ensuring effective communication among stakeholders while delivering projects within the constraints of scope, quality, time, and budget.

Responsibilities

• Deliver programs within the constraints of scope, quality, time, and budget while managing moderate-risk factors.
• Engage in program-level strategic planning and interact with executive-level management.
• Resolve complex issues and foster excellent communication and team-building skills.
• Manage internal exempt and matrixed employees and contractors to deliver systems and enhancements that meet specified requirements.
• Oversee project scope definition, requirements gathering, time estimating, project schedule development, budget management, status reporting, issue and risk management, and customer interaction.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or related field required.
• MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.
• PMP or PMI certification is required.
• Proven people management and team-building skills.
• Experience delivering technology and business application solutions in a large-scale, multi-platform systems environment.
• Strong ability to assess risk and management principles to technology applications/products and business functions.
• Demonstrated ability to be flexible/adaptable in exercising judgment in a changing environment.
