About the position

As a Technical Program Manager III at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects that require a blend of technical expertise and program management skills. Your role will involve working closely with stakeholders to plan project requirements, identify risks, manage schedules, and communicate effectively across various teams. You will also be responsible for interfacing with customers to align Google technology with their missions, ensuring that solutions are tailored to meet the needs of public sector institutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the full business cycle for complex professional services engagements and value-based initiatives, including business development and presenting to C-level executives.
  • Make recommendations on integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure required to implement complete solutions.
  • Define the scope of projects and develop, execute, or manage project plans for supported programs, including building or writing SOWs or RFx's.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand or identify defined work problems and program goals, obtain prioritized deliverables, and discuss program impact.
  • Review key metrics pertaining to a program, monitor potential metric deviations, and define corrective actions for critical deviations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program management in technology consulting or similar in the federal government space.
  • 5 years of experience advising enterprise or government customers in cloud solutions architecture, technical project management, stakeholder management, professional services, or technical consulting.
  • Active US Government Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) security clearance with Polygraph.

Nice-to-haves

  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience working with new and emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the cloud and broader enterprise technology transformation space.
  • Experience collaborating with channel partners, systems integrators, and third-party developers to deliver high-impact solutions.
  • Experience collaborating with and building technical solutions in partnership with US National Security customers.
  • Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to deliver a professional business and technical pitch to executive stakeholder levels.
