About the position

The Technical Program Manager - IT Project Portfolio at ACV is responsible for overseeing the delivery and management of technology and security projects. This role requires a self-starting individual with a strong background in IT project and program management, focusing on developing project plans, managing dependencies, and ensuring effective communication with stakeholders. The position emphasizes a collaborative atmosphere and a commitment to enhancing the customer experience through innovative technology solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Actively support efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
  • Oversee the end-to-end management of assigned projects within the Enterprise Technology portfolio, focusing on Security projects.
  • Provide scrum leadership for agile projects, ensuring ceremonies are conducted and documented appropriately.
  • Partner with project and agile teams to analyze, plan, and develop requirements and standards for scheduled projects or sprints.
  • Create project plans, identify constraints, dependencies, and risks, and provide mitigation plans.
  • Execute sprint planning and sprint reviews with agile teams.
  • Manage scope expectations and evaluate business priorities to balance resources and projects efficiently.
  • Facilitate the capture and reporting of sprint or project progress and escalate questions or challenges using Jira.
  • Maintain project documentation in relevant project management systems and tools.
  • Organize and participate in stakeholder meetings and cross-team communication.
  • Define clear deliverables, roles, and responsibilities for resources required for specific projects or initiatives.
  • Prepare presentation materials for meetings, ideally leveraging automation provided by Jira.
  • Identify and communicate project critical paths.
  • Ensure projects adhere to frameworks and maintain appropriate documentation.
  • Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
  • Manage stakeholder views towards the best solution.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years' experience in project/program management and agile delivery in a related technology field.
  • PMP and/or Scrum/Agile certification preferred.
  • Demonstrated comprehension of Project Management and Agile Management processes, strategies, and methodologies.
  • Experience with scheduling and project management software, specifically Jira.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and administrative skills.
  • Experience coordinating multiple concurrent project schedules.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to visualize and understand complex processes and systems, identify points of failure, and implement process improvements.
  • Familiarity with ITIL standards and IT Security compliance standards and practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to present and discuss technical information effectively with stakeholders.
