Meta is seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join the Facebook Reality Labs (FRL) team, which is at the forefront of immersive computing technology. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of computing by driving the development and delivery of high-quality products and experiences that connect users with entertainment and information. The TPM will work closely with world-class development teams and leaders across the organization to ensure the successful integration of software and hardware components in products such as Oculus, Portal, and Ray-Ban Wayfarer. The position encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including managing complex cross-functional programs, driving platform bring-up, and making critical program decisions based on embedded system concepts and performance-driven design. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing cross-functional programs, facilitating relationships across multiple teams to identify risks, manage dependencies, and optimize resources. They will drive visibility, accountability, and execution across software development areas, ensuring that technology requirements and roadmaps are met. The TPM will also establish themselves as an expert in their technology area, serving as the go-to point for execution and integration management. This role requires a strong communicator who can translate high-level goals into actionable plans and effectively engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. In addition to technical expertise, the TPM will provide hands-on program management throughout the project lifecycle, from analysis and design to testing and implementation. They will work in a dynamic environment to develop best practices and processes, driving impact through the deployment of key initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading technology investments across multiple products, demonstrating critical thinking and thought leadership in complex execution scenarios.
