About the position

The Technical Program Manager role within Microsoft's Cloud Supply Chain (CSCP) organization focuses on driving the deployment of hyperscale cloud network infrastructure to meet the growing demands of cloud capacity. This position involves developing and executing strategies to deliver network infrastructure while coordinating with global stakeholders and external suppliers. The role requires a deep understanding of the product lifecycle, technical insights, and the ability to manage complex projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Drive hyperscale cloud network infrastructure deployment projects to enable new cloud capacity.
  • Define and control program scope, create and execute committed schedules, and report on program deliverables.
  • Drive continuous improvement of deployment processes and assess program delivery capabilities.
  • Enable workflow orchestration and integration efforts while supporting systemic automation and effective data management.
  • Coordinate with datacenter operations and engineering teams to enhance scalable deployment activities and performance.
  • Manage the end-to-end deployment lifecycle, balancing delivery quality and priorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
  • 1+ year(s) of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • 1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years of experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • 1-3 years of technical strategy, operations management experience in a cloud-based technology business or similar industry.
  • Expertise in deployment of high-performance, highly available, large scale distributed network technologies.
  • Good knowledge of cloud infrastructure and datacenter environments.
  • Good networking experience and understanding of network infrastructure and protocols.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management and procurement processes.
  • PMP/Six Sigma certification.
